WorldFish Center

“The WorldFish Center, with Headquarters in Penang, Malaysia, is an autonomous, nonprofit organization, and was established as an international center in 1977. The Center is an operational entity with programs funded by grants from private foundations and governments.”

“In 1992, the WorldFish Center became a research center of the CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research).”

Inter-Centre Working Group on Genetic Resources

Each of the CGIAR Centres has a representative on the Inter-Centre Working Group on Genetic Resources, SGRP’s steering committee. The Committee sets the strategy and priorities for SGRP and meets annually to review its workplan.
